Moliy is shaking up the charts—literally. The Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter’s remix of Shake It To The Max, featuring Silent Addy and Jamaican dancehall stars Skillibeng and Shenseea, has officially debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, marking a major milestone in her rising career. This achievement comes just days after the track made its debut at No. 20 on the U.K.’s Official Afrobeats Chart, solidifying its growing international appeal.

The original version of Shake It To The Max, fueled by its infectious rhythm and a viral TikTok craze, has surged in popularity, jumping from 5.5 million to 7.2 million YouTube streams in just one week. Meanwhile, the remix, which premiered 12 days ago, has already amassed over 1.2 million views and continues to gain momentum. Fans have embraced the high-energy fusion of Afrobeats and dancehall, with one listener praising the track, commenting, “I enjoy this song ?? the riddim bad ? I highly recommend listening to the riddim with earbuds or a bass speaker—it bad!”

As the song climbs the charts, Moliy is currently in Jamaica on a promotional stint backed by Skillibeng and Shenseea. The singer has been actively engaging with fans, sharing moments from her trip, including a clip posted to Instagram featuring her dancing alongside a group at the University of the West Indies (UWI). Captioning the post, she wrote, “Disturbing Jamaica ????❤️? #shakeittothemaxremix????? #viralreels #jamaicajamaica.” The post has only fueled excitement, as Jamaican and African music lovers continue to embrace the crossover hit.

With Shake It To The Max rapidly gaining traction, Moliy’s ability to bridge Afrobeats and dancehall is proving to be a winning formula. As she continues her promotional push, fans eagerly anticipate what’s next for the genre-blending star who is making waves on both sides of the Atlantic.
