The weeklong celebration, running from February 23 to March 2, will transform Kingston into the heartbeat of dancehall culture, culminating in the Double Seven Street Parade and the electrifying after-party, Carousing. Last year, she ignited heated discussions with her provocative track Gen Z Jezebel, in which she unapologetically embraced a rebellious, self-serving persona. The song, featuring lines like “Since yuh mean wid yuh money, mi a mean wid mi p**y den”*, drew mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. While some praised her fearless expression, others condemned the use of the term “Jezebel” due to its negative historical connotations. Additionally, her 2024 diss track London Bed, aimed at Stefflon Don, was abruptly removed from YouTube following a copyright claim by Warner Music Group.
