Dancehall legend Bounty Killer is set to make a triumphant return to the UK this November with two highly anticipated concerts, marking his first official performances on British soil since the reinstatement of his UK visa one year ago. The Warlord, who had been absent from the UK for 13 years due to visa issues, visited briefly last September for a promotional stint with his collaborative EP’ Time Bomb‘ with Cham.
This time, however, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the stage at the OVO Arena in Wembley on Sunday, November 17, as part of the Legends of Legends concert, co-headlined by Beenie Man and Baby Cham. Bounty will also perform at The Forum in Birmingham on Sunday, November 24, alongside his longtime friend Richie Stephens and emerging artist Wilful Skilful.
Bounty Killer’s upcoming UK concerts follow his recent outspoken remarks at Bugle’s album launch for his fifth studio effort, ‘Apex.’ At the event, the dancehall warlord expressed his disappointment with the lack of support for reggae music in the local entertainment scene, calling for more reggae tracks to receive prime-time rotation at social gatherings. “I want to see more Reggae music enjoying premium rotation during the prime time segments at social gatherings instead of being relegated to warm-up music,” he told Prism Marketing Consultants, underscoring that “no music that is placed at the various events is bigger than Bob Marley’s music, which is reggae.”
Despite his schedule in Jamaica, Bounty Killer continues to command the stage with his relentless work ethic and new music releases. His latest track, “Ball A Roll,” produced by Pandemic Records & Ent. LLC is currently buzzing. With UK fans gearing up for his November performances, the Warlord’s return marks a significant moment for his career and loyal supporters.
