Fast-rising dancehall sensation Blaize Shell Shell has been making significant strides with a series of fresh releases in recent weeks, but his impact extends beyond the music scene. In a heartwarming gesture of philanthropy, the deejay, known for singles like Toxic Love, recently visited Gordon Town Primary School, where he made a substantial cash donation and gifted 25 copies of his first book, The Power of Pain. His contribution aims to assist students with school fees and much-needed supplies. On hand to receive the donation was the school’s principal, Mrs. Taylor Morgan, alongside members of her administration.
During the presentation, Blaize commended Mrs. Morgan and her team for their ongoing efforts to uplift the school and its surrounding community. He also revealed plans to formally adopt the institution through his Shell Shell Save a Youth Foundation.
“Many youths look up to artists and public figures as mentors. We have a duty to inspire and motivate them in the right direction, and for me, there is no better place to start than in schools,” Blaize shared. He added, “If helping a youth with school fees, books, or even lunch money puts them on a positive path, then that’s what I’m going to do. I can’t do it all, but I want to play my part.”
On the music front, Blaize continues to see a steady rise in streams and career interest as he actively promotes three new singles: Too Late, Artist Who, and Toxic Love. He recently hosted an exclusive listening party for select industry insiders and fans, offering them a sneak peek into a few tracks from his forthcoming album, set for release in October.
