Acclaimed music producer CJTheChemist, known for his dynamic approach to dancehall music, is gearing up for a triple release on Friday, June 14. The new offerings include “Real” by Noah Powa and Mafi, “Just Toxic” by Juggla, and “Best Friend” by Tayjah, the latter of which is the newest talent signed to Chemist Records. This positively anticipated release follows closely on the heels of CJTheChemist’s recent offering, “Higher Life,” featuring Chronic Law and Kranium, steadily making inroads within the dancehall community.
The track “Higher Life,” released via the UK-based Outdeh Records, showcases the melodic brilliance of Kranium and Chronic Law, two of dancehall’s most prominent voices. The song has swiftly climbed to the 5th position on Spotify’s Dancehall Official playlist, which boasts over 1.3 million followers, and secured a spot on other major playlists, including New Dancehall 2024 Jm Official. “While Kranium and I were in the studio vibing and finalizing the song, we felt a verse from Chronic Law would elevate the record, even though it was already complete,” said CJTheChemist, highlighting the seamless collaboration that has captured the hearts of dancehall enthusiasts.
Ahead of the upcoming releases, CJTheChemist, whose real name is Steve Rowe, expressed his excitement about the new projects and continues to demonstrate his keen eye for talent and his ability to produce tracks that resonate with audiences worldwide.
