On Sunday afternoon, dancehall artist Jafrass took to social media to offload a series of accusations against his former friend and acclaimed music producer, Notnice. The entertainer expressed frustration over being denied access to some of his digital platforms, specifically YouTube and Spotify, and highlighted the absence of a Billboard plaque.
Jafrass shared his discontent via his Instagram Story, stating, “No access to me YouTube no access to me Spotify an all now me cyah get me billboard plaque smh @ Notnice you a wah real b**ty boy an sell out,”
Alluding to the accusations of Notnice attempting to control and sabotage his career, Jafrass added, “Anytime uno Cyah control or program artist uno try slow dung dem ting but member ano you gi me me talent so you cyah stop me progress sym.”
Efforts by Prism Marketing Consultants to contact Notnice for a response regarding the allegations proved futile.
In 2020, Jafrass released his debut EP titled “Faith” on Notnice Records. The 8-track compilation featured collaborations with notable artists such as Nordia Mothersille, Jah Vinci, and Squash. Jafrass’ professional journey began when he serendipitously connected with producer Notnice, eventually signing to the imprint label. His debut single, “Floss Boss,” was recorded on Notnice’s Detox Riddim.
