Accomplished sound system selector Tony Matterhorn recently found himself at the centre of a social media storm following accusations of infidelity, being a deadbeat father, and revelations about his marital status.
His wife, Shanice “Bella” Taylor, publicly aired their personal grievances, catching the dancehall community by surprise. Matterhorn, however, expressed his commitment to handling the situation with dignity and respect, refraining from public disputes.
“Me nah go elaborate on my thing, mi ago always love my wife, and mi no have nutten bad fi say,” he stated on Instagram Live, emphasizing his dedication to maintaining family matters privately.
Matterhorn also addressed allegations of being a deadbeat father, asserting his love for his children and his willingness to provide for them. He even shared an anecdote about accepting a child who was not biologically his, illustrating his genuine care for kids. In contrast to expectations, he chose not to engage in public bickering, distinguishing himself from those who resort to public spectacles to resolve personal issues.
The situation took a sharper turn when Matterhorn directed pointed comments at his longtime dancehall rival, Bounty Killer,
“but mi ago diss oonu big p***y friend weh name Bounty Killer weh a chat off him mouth wah day cuz mi and him nuh friend and him kno mi nuh like him and him nuh like mi, so when mi ready fi deal wid him I will let oonu know,” He added.
He clarified that he wouldn’t hesitate to address their issues but would do so on his terms.
