The Tower Band collective, led by drummer Kryss Ras, collaborated with renowned billboard vocalist Gyptian to bring their musical magic to the recently revived Remire-Montjoly Fête in French Guiana. This event had been absent from the country’s social calendar for over a decade, making its return highly anticipated.
Gyptian’s appearance at the event was a long-awaited moment for his enthusiastic supporters, and he didn’t disappoint. Tower Band kicked off the proceedings with an outstanding performance of their singles “Vincent Street” and “Rich In Spirit,” setting the stage for Gyptian’s electrifying entrance. The singer delivered a plethora of hits, including crowd favourites “Whine Whine,” “Hold on Me,” “Policy,” “Beautiful Lady,” and “Hold You” among others. His performance whipped the audience into a frenzy and was well-received, evidenced by the loud cheers and screams throughout his set.
After the show, Gyptian and the band took the time to further engage with the fans through a photo op and autograph signing session. Ryte Dyrekshan, Free People Entertainment, BoomJam & Tower Music Media Group made this memorable collaboration possible.
Tower Band’s reputation continues to grow both locally and internationally, with collaborations with industry heavyweights and rising stars, such as Skeng, Teejay, Bugle, 450, Stark Ashley, Valiant, Tony Rebel and Cutty Ranks, among others. Their performance with Gyptian at the Remire-Montjoly Fête added another remarkable chapter to their musical journey.
