Dancehall artiste Jafrass has been discharged from the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) after spending nearly a week in recovery following a severe motor vehicle accident in the Corporate Area.
Although not officially discharged by the medical team, the Montegonian entertainer, whose given name is Shevin Jarrett, decided to leave, citing frustration from being at the facility for a protracted period.
Recalling the incident that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. last Saturday, the deejay shared that he was shaken up and is currently wearing a neck brace and awaiting the results of a CT scan for lacerations on his head. According to a member of his team, the artiste was found at the accident scene with blood all over his face and later woke up in the hospital.
The accident reportedly involved a collision with a woman’s vehicle, leaving Jafrass’s BMW motorcar completely totalled. Another motorist who witnessed the incident sprung into action and rushed the deejay to the Kingston Public Hospital for medical attention.
Jafrass is widely recognized for his singles “Crime Lord” and “War Mi Nuh“, among others.
