St. Kitts and Nevis-based dancehall sensation Byron Messia is expressing gratitude for surviving a harrowing car accident in St. Mary, Jamaica on Saturday morning.
Prism Marketing Consultants understands that the artist was travelling in a white BMW motorcar driven by a member of his entourage when the vehicle got into difficulties, overturned and rolled down a precipice, resulting in severe injuries to two passengers, now hospitalized.
The preliminary report has not revealed the official cause of the accident, but according to onlookers’ accounts, speeding is suspected. Despite the frightening ordeal, Messia remains optimistic and is praying for the swift recovery of his friends.
In a statement to the media, Messia conveyed his gratitude, saying, “I have to give thanks to the Most High for sparing my life and the lives of my friends this morning, and I am praying for a speedy recovery for my friends who were hurt in the accident. Greatness comes with obstacles, and I want my fans to know that I am in good spirits and will continue my musical journey.”
