Jamaican recording artiste Popcaan has added construction to his growing list of entrepreneurial ventures. On Wednesday evening via Instagram, he shared a multi-post showing off his latest acquisition, an excavator, often referred to as a digger. The heavy equipment is essential for most construction projects and is used for various jobs such as material handling, landscaping, demolition, mining, trenching, and river dredging.
Popcaan captioned the post, “Gud life construction 🏗 Yuh learn invest wisely and yuh earn! #876gud.”
The artist’s most recent acquisition of an excavator is yet another indication of his entrepreneurial spirit. Popcaan is known for his diverse business ventures, which include event promotion (Unruly Fest) and music. He has demonstrated the importance of investing wisely and diversifying one’s business portfolio.
Last week, the dancehall star, whose given name is Andre Sutherland, also announced that he would be embarking on an African tour shortly. Popcaan is no stranger to the continent, having previously performed in several African countries, including Ghana and The Gambia. In a message to his fans via Twitter, he wrote,
“My African tour dates and venue will be announced soon, I’m connecting with all my true unruly fans in Africa real soon.”
Popcaan recently achieved his seventh silver certification in the United Kingdom for his song “2 Cups“. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the 2019 release, which features Fredo and Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, on May 26, 2023.
