Dancehall artiste Latifa Brown, more popularly known as Tifa, has returned to the music industry after a self-imposed retirement. During an almost hour-long interview with THE FIX Podcast, the Jamaican songstress broached a plethora of topics, including returning to the music scene, relocating to Florida, working with Grammy winner Kabaka Pyramid, accepting an apology from a former nemesis, working on new music with ZJ Chrome, her relationship status and being celibate for almost two years. She also discussed her endorsement deal as the new face of Dykal Health and Wellness.
Speaking on the latter, as an ambassador, Tifa will promote Dykal Health and Wellness Centre’s specifically designed weight loss programmes, which offer a “healthier and safer” alternative to cosmetic surgery.
Tifa stated, “Dykal Health and Wellness does everything from vaccination to rejuvenation and, of course, the new craze now, which is weight loss. They approached me about the ambassadorship, and I said yes because I was researching the Ozempic drug and the skinny shots, and personally, I wanted to shed a few pounds, so it only made sense to partner with them.”
In addition to her ambassadorship, the entertainer is promoting her latest musical effort, “Sweet So,” produced by ZJ Chrome on the CR2O3 Records imprint. She is also proud to have contributed to Kabaka Pyramid’s Grammy-winning album, “The Kalling,” she’s featured on the track “Mr Rastaman.”
Tifa’s return to the local music scene has been met with positivity from fans as she continues to showcase her talent and work alongside esteemed talents in the industry.
