Bow Wow has once again taken to social media to discredit Jermaine Dupri’s role in his career.
In a series of since-deleted tweets, Bow Wow accused JD of conspiring to keep his publishing and claimed he was never signed to So So Def. The rapper’s comments were in response to a recent interview JD did on “The Breakfast Club,” in which he discussed their relationship.
“Dont you gotta album to promote? Focus on that instead bringing me up in every interview you’ve been doing,” Bow Wow tweeted. “I dont bring you up. Grant me that same respect homie.”
Despite two of Bow Wow’s highest-charting hits being written and produced by JD, the rapper claimed that JD lied about his involvement in his music and discouraged him from writing. Bow Wow also credited R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg for their involvement in his career, with the latter giving him his stage name.
“How he really aint produce or write allll the hits like yall think? How they kept me from writing because they wanted all the publishing…. Or how i was NEVER signed to so so def let’s talk about it!” he continued.
The rapper’s comments follow a previous announcement last year to reunite with Snoop and release his final album on Death Row Records, which was acquired by the hip-hop icon.
