Rick Ross and Meek Mill have put their past differences aside and are working on a new collaboration.
The former labelmates shared photos and videos of their studio reunion on Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come. Meek captioned his post with “Perfect timing @richforever 💎💎,” while Ross teased that the release is coming “VERY SOON!…. 🔥🔥🔥 @meekmill.”
Their collaboration comes after Ross surprised fans by joining Meek on stage for a performance of “Ima Boss” during his concert in Philadelphia in November.
This is a significant move for the duo, as Meek had reportedly expressed frustration with his Maybach Music contract and even denied Ross entry to his section at a Miami nightclub in May 2021.
It remains unclear where the new music will be released, but fans eagerly anticipate its drop. Meek released his Flamerz 5 mixtape in November, his first project since leaving Roc Nation. Ross, on the other hand, has been busy with other ventures and reportedly signed a deal with Gamma, the new company founded by former Apple Music executive Larry Jackson.
Despite their past differences, it’s clear that Rick Ross and Meek Mill are focused on making music together once again. Fans are excited to see what the two have in store for them and can’t wait to hear the new collaboration.
