Bugle, one of reggae-dancehall’s most prolific singers and songwriters, can now add event promoter to his growing list of accolades as the Rastafarian crooner is set to launch his latest business venture next month.
Starting March 10, the multi-hyphenated entertainer will unveil his new venture, “An9ted Fridays.” What is An9ted Fridays? It’s a weekly event hosted by the artiste and his business associates aimed at boosting the entertainment offerings on the local social calendar.
However, what sets this weekly event apart from other social gatherings is a special “reggae hour” dedicated exclusively to playing reggae music; thereafter, the proceedings will return to normality with selections from various genres. Another highlight will be intermittent live performances at numerous stagings from some of the most notable names in the industry.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, organiser Bugle explain the concept behind this latest undertaking,
“We are always looking at innovative ways to contribute positively to the entertainment industry, and hosting an event of this nature, I believe, will definitely help. We need more events, but we also need more support for reggae locally, which is why we have a special hour just for patrons to enjoy the best of what reggae has to offer,” of course, all other genres will be played because diversity is important. Still, we have to do our part to preserve the reggae genre,”– he added.
An9ted Fridays will also feature a special host along with a plethora of guest DJs. The weekly proceedings will run from 8 pm to 2 am in the Boonan community, located at 19 Whitehall Terrace Kingston 8.
Meanwhile, the “Rasta Party” hitmaker recently lent his vocals to a new collaboration with up-and-comer Military Man titled “So Many Bills; the single was released with the accompaniment of an official video via Youtube.
