Now on the rebound after laying his beloved son Khalif Lawrence to rest last month, who succumbed to a prolonged battle with cancer on December 3. Dancehall artiste Aidonia is gearing up to release his second single for the new year.
Produced by Banger House Music, the track titled “Socrates” showcases the deejay’s witty and intellectual lyricism as he toasts over a fiery upbeat instrumental that is sure to have dancehall lovers “bussing a few blanks in the air”.
Though tight-lipped about the release date for the project, the 4th Genna head honcho unveiled the official cover art via Instagram on Friday morning with the caption,
“Have More Goals Dan A Soccer Field. SAMBA #SOCRATES #OCCUPIEDMIND @bangahousemusicgroup Artwork @godhenrydesign SOOOON”
“Socrates” is the follow-up to “Faith“, a sombre tribute to his late son, released last month. Premiering almost two weeks ago, the official video for “Faith” has amassed over 365,000 views via Vevo and continues to maintain an uptick in viewership.
