In an era where collaborations dominate dancehall rollouts, Munga Honorable is deliberately traversing against the grain. The dancehall luminary has announced Focus, a five-track, feature-free EP set for release on February 20, a move designed to centre his artistry and underscore his evolution both musically and personally. Executively produced by Grammy-winning producer Comar “Frankie” Campbell of Frankie Music Production, the project places Munga alone at the forefront, inviting listeners to engage fully with his voice, perspective and growth.

The announcement follows the release of My VIP, the EP’s lead single, which introduced a softer, more intimate side of the artiste for Valentine’s Week. Alongside confirming the title and release date, Munga also revealed the official cover art for Focus, which will be distributed by OneRPM and is currently available for pre-order. The project will officially launch on release day with a listening event at Frankie Music Studio, 111b Molynes Road, beginning at 7 pm.

Speaking exclusively with Prism Marketing Consultants, Campbell explained that the absence of guest features was a deliberate creative choice. “The aim is to focus on the artiste and to help elevate his craft and also to showcase the depth of his artistry,” he said. Despite the EP’s concise format, Campbell revealed that narrowing the project down to five songs was no easy task. “It was a hard job choosing only five songs, because of the volume of quality material we recorded,” he noted.

While Frankie Music Production spearheads the project, additional production contributions come from JJ Wizzle, HillTop Records and HiitMiix, adding texture without compromising cohesion. With My VIP setting the emotional tone and Focus promising a broader reflection of Munga Honorable’s maturity and versatility, the EP signals a calculated, confidence-driven chapter. Come February 20, the dancehall heavyweight will let the music speak — uninterrupted.
