Delivering one of the night’s best performances, Jamaican reggae vocalist Bugle was stellar at Saturday’s annual staging of the Prime Minister’s New Year’s Gala in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Rastafarian crooner was among a select group of special invitees to perform at the prestigious event held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino, one of the Caribbean’s largest and most luxurious resorts.
During his hour-long set, Bugle lauded Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and his cabinet for preserving a stable economy and very low crime rate, making the Caribbean island a desirable tourism destination. He also used the performance to pay homage to the residents of low-income communities throughout the island, urging them to “push through the struggles” despite their circumstances.
The “Nuh Compatible” singer is expected to return to Jamaica in the days ahead amid preparation for a series of local and international assignments.
Meanwhile, with the unveiling of the new year, Bugle continues to promote his latest single, “Fully Bright“, an ode to education, currently enjoying premium rotation across the diaspora.
