Frankie Music, the management outfit of dancehall star Laa Lee, has issued an apology to the Mayor of Kingston, Delroy Williams, the Kingston & St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC), and fans of the entertainer after missing the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Speaking with Prism Marketing Consultants, Comar Campbell, chief executive of the music firm, explained that the artiste was billed as one of the headliners for Tuesday’s ceremony at the Sir William Grant Park in Downtown Kingston. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Laa Lee was unable to be in attendance at the highly-publicised annual event.
“Let me sincerely apologise to the Mayor and the entire KSAMC for our absence yesterday; we had some issues travelling back to Kingston in time for the event. We are really disappointed as it’s something Laa Lee has always wanted to do. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, it would be remiss of us not to thank the entire organising committee and the fans for their unwavering commitment and support as we look forward to serving our country with pride in the foreseeable future.” – Campbell stated.
Fresh from a pair of performances at Hennessy Artistry in Barbados and The Bahamas, Laa Lee has a packed roster of activities for the festive season.
