This Friday, December 23, dancehall artist Busy Signal will take centerstage alongside Ghanaian star Stonebwoy at a festival in Ghana.
Now in its 6th staging, the event dubbed “BHIM Concert 2022 – African Caribbean Link Up” will unfold at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, and is expected to see a massive outpouring of concertgoers, considering the Jamaican entertainer is one of the most popular in the African state.
On Wednesday, Busy Signal arrived at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, where Stonebwoy, accompanied by a heavily armed security contingent, members of the media and fans – warmly greeted him. His welcome ceremony featured standout moments, including a roadshow through the vibrant streets of Nima, Accra New Town, and its surrounding environs.
Stonebwoy’s BHIM Concert has grown significantly, becoming Ghana’s most successful artist-led music festival. Since its inception, the event has showcased an impressive roster of African and Caribbean performers, such as Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage and African stars DBlack, MzVee, Samini, Sefa, and Kofi Kinaata, among others.
