Dancehall songstress Shaneil Muir got a health scare earlier today and had to be rushed to the hospital, where doctors subsequently issued her strict orders to rest after collapsing in Montego Bay, St. James.
Prism Marketing Consultants understands that on Saturday afternoon, the “Yamabella” hitmaker was in the vicinity of A&B Complex on Market Street in the second city when she fainted.
According to a statement released by her team, she was brought to the GWest Medical Centre, where she was evaluated and placed on a seven-day leave attributed to stress-related symptoms and fatigue, which contributed to her collapse.
“Shaneil has also committed to speaking openly about her situation via her social media pages as soon as she is physically and mentally able to,” The statement issued by her team read.
Scheduled to make a pair of appearances over the Heroes Day Weekend at Shades Pon Di Beach in Ocho Rios, St. Ann and Cups Up in Hartford, Connecticut. The entertainer extended her sincere apologies to both supporters and the promoters of her shows. She also utilised the situation as a lesson to prioritise her health for the foreseeable future.
