After being named a person of interest by the South St. Catherine Police on Monday, dancehall entertainer Silk Boss, in his attorney’s presence, was questioned on Tuesday.
Following the Q&A session by officers from the Constabulary Force, Senior Superintendent of Police Christopher Phillips says they have found no reason to detain the artiste.
The Senior Superintendent declined to divulge the interview details, only declaring that their investigations continue. He also alluded to the possibility of the entertainer being recalled for further questioning if such a need arises.

In an interview earlier last week, the deejay revealed that his assailants are members of the Gulf community in Gregory Park, St. Catherine. Though the video was released last week, the incident occurred a month ago, when he was viciously assaulted and robbed over J$1.4. million by the men with whom he had previously maintained friendships.
During an actual sit-down with broadcaster Winford Williams, Silk Boss reiterated that he had not filed a police report nor had any immediate plans to do. He asserted that his inaction was due to a lack of trust in people and the unethical nature of local law enforcement.
