Popular sound system selector and social media personality Foota Hype appear to be at his wit’s ends with some dancehall practitioners for what he deems the continued degradation of our music.
One of the genre’s most staunch advocates against certain reprobate practices, Foota, in a recent Livestream, made a public declaration that he will no longer be accommodating any songs for review on his platforms that glorifies oral sex.
“Mi sick and tired a di sucking business inna di song dem__ anytime mi get nuh song fi review and mi listen and mi hear nut’n bout nuh sucking, mi dun wid di song. Mi a dash it weh, delete it. Right den and dere it a come offa mi program.”
Questioning the state of modern relationships, Foota asked if “sucking” has become the centrepiece of nowadays sexual encounters.
As the Livestream prolonged, Foota Hype stressed that he cares not for those who get upset because of his stance. Ironically, he also offered a list of appropriate sex positions and places that would be acceptable in the same vein.
