Dancehall star Shenseea made her debut at the annual Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Accompanied by her son Rajeiro, she was among the evening’s presenters for the coveted showcase. Other presenters included Anthony Anderson, Heidi Klum, Anitta, Normani, Dove Cameron, DJ Khaled, Pusha T, Michael Bublé, City Girls, Teyona Taylor, Lainey Wilson, AleXa, and Tiffany Haddish.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hosted the ceremony, which unfolded late Sunday evening.
Prior to her presentation Shenseea walked the red carpet and spoke with the media about her upcoming project with Diddy and the experience of working with Megan Thee Stallion on ‘Lick’.
This year’s awards are based on the chart period of April 10, 2021, through March 26, 2022.
Finalists and winners are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Luminate (formerly MRC Data).
