After more than a decade away from the Netherlands, Aidonia is taking his resurgent 2026 campaign to Amsterdam, where the dancehall heavyweight will perform at the Reggae Lake Festival on August 16. The long-awaited return comes at a pivotal moment for the Jamaican star, following recent appearances at Plantation Smokehouse and Best Weekend Ever, while his latest single, “Like How Yuh Feel”, has surpassed one million Spotify streams, generated more than 3.5 million collective YouTube views and scored multiple Caribbean No. 1s. The Reggae Lake appearance now gives Aidonia another major international platform alongside reggae heavyweights including The Wailers, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Alpha Blondy, Anthony B and Jesse Royal. The festival’s official line-up confirms Aidonia for the 2026 edition at Gaasperpark, Amsterdam.

The booking comes as Aidonia continues to build one of his most active periods in recent years. “Like How Yuh Feel”, released on May 22, has emerged as a major Caribbean dancehall record, with the track securing strong Apple Music positions across territories including Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, the British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and St Lucia. Spotify currently lists the song among Aidonia’s most popular tracks, underscoring its continued digital traction.

Meanwhile, the deejay’s live momentum has been just as notable. His appearance before a reported crowd of about 30,000 at London’s City Splash Festival earlier this summer strengthened his credentials as a major draw within the European dancehall market. That momentum has continued at home, with his surprise cameo at ZIMI Seh Beach during Jamaica’s Independence weekend adding another high-energy moment to his summer run. Coupled with an ambitious rollout of up to 15 new releases, including his contribution to Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor’s Hill & Gully Riddim, Aidonia has kept his name firmly in the conversation.

Reggae Lake Festival, which takes place on August 15 and 16, is recognised by I amsterdam as the largest reggae festival in the Netherlands, featuring six stages at Gaasperpark. Aidonia’s return therefore carries significance beyond a single performance: it places one of Jamaica’s leading contemporary dancehall voices back on a major Dutch stage after an extended absence, at precisely the moment his music is regaining serious regional and international traction.

With his Caribbean numbers rising, European profile strengthening and new music on the way, Aidonia’s Amsterdam return could become another defining moment in a 2026 campaign that is increasingly looking like a full-scale resurgence.
