Chronixx, known for his deeply spiritual messages and vibrant live sets, delivered a dynamic 90-minute performance packed with crowd favourites including “Skankin’ Sweet,” “Spanish Town Rockin’,” “Warrior,” and the anthemic “Who Knows,” his popular collaboration with Protoje. He closed the show with the uplifting “Smile Jamaica,” leaving the audience roaring in approval. But the biggest revelation came mid-set, when the Spanish Town native finally confirmed, “Exile is coming later this year,” sending a wave of excitement through the crowd and online.
This appearance at Reggae Land is just the beginning of Chronixx’s UK run. His next stop is set for August 15 at Provenance, the opening show of the Summer Series at Victoria Park, London. The event boasts a star-powered lineup including critically acclaimed soulstress Cleo Sol and the enigmatic collective SAULT, with whom Chronixx previously hinted he shares creative synergy. On Instagram, he teased fans, writing: “I will be chanting some new chants and skanking some new skanks from my new ting seen.”
