Dancehall royalty will light up the BET Experience this weekend as international stars Konshens and Spice are set to headline “106 & Party: Rep Ya Flag”—a Caribbean-themed extravaganza during the 106 & Park @ BETX activation on Saturday, June 7. Part of the BET Experience Fan Fest and the countdown to the 2025 BET Awards, the showcase will celebrate Caribbean culture with vibrant performances, carnival dance-offs, and the island energy only the diaspora can bring.
Konshens, riding high off the release of his fiery new single “Back Day Azz Up (BDAUP)”, is redefining cross-genre collaboration. Co-signed by hip hop mogul Birdman, the track reimagines Juvenile’s classic anthem with a dancehall twist, creating a “bold, genre-defying anthem” that’s earning him critical buzz and club dominance. The Gyal a Bubble hitmaker will be joined by none other than the Queen of Dancehall herself, Spice, who continues to break new ground in the global market.
Spice’s 2014 hit “So Mi Like It” has not only stood the test of time but continues to dominate streaming platforms. As of February 28, 2025, the song has sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S., making it eligible for RIAA Gold certification. It is also nearing 100 million Spotify streams, cementing Spice’s status as one of dancehall’s most streamed and impactful female acts internationally.
Also joining the lineup is rising Bajan star Amanda Reifer, with DJ Young Chow hosting and delivering high-energy island mixes throughout the night. As part of the broader BET Experience 2025, presented by SheaMoisture, this event blends entertainment, culture, and heritage—making it a can’t-miss celebration of Black and Caribbean excellence.
