Dancehall artiste Jahmiel is building momentum ahead of the July 10 release of his fourth studio album, Against All Odds, a 15-track project loaded with emotional storytelling, motivational themes, and heavyweight collaborations. Leading the early conversation is a reimagined acoustic-inspired version of “Legend” featuring Masicka and Jahshii, breathing new life into one of Jahmiel’s most celebrated records while giving fans a fresh lyrical link-up between three of dancehall’s strongest voices.
The upcoming project, unveiled through Sweet Music’s Instagram page, showcases Jahmiel’s continued evolution as one of modern dancehall’s most introspective hitmakers. Alongside tracks such as Dear Jahmiel, One Day, Watch Over Me, In Charge, and You Raise Me Up, the album also features appearances from Charly Black, Nhance, and reggae singer Yohan Marley. According to Jahmiel, the project represents a new creative chapter centred on versatility and authenticity. “Against All Odds is different from my previous albums. It’s versatility at its best. There’s a song for everybody on this project,” the entertainer shared while saluting Sweet Music and Emudio for helping bring the album to life.
The renewed focus on “Legend” has especially ignited excitement across social media. The original 2021 collaboration between Jahmiel and Masicka amassed more than 15 million views on YouTube and became a fan-favourite among supporters of lyrical dancehall. By adding Jahshii and introducing an acoustic-inspired arrangement, the revamped version is expected to generate strong streaming traction while reconnecting fans with the chemistry that made the original record resonate so strongly.
The announcement also marks another significant step in Jahmiel’s consistent musical journey. The move follows his 2025 EP Sound of Greatness, a six-track release created alongside producer Minto Play Da Riddim that explored themes of resilience, self-worth, love, and personal growth. Jahmiel also earned praise earlier this year for More Than Conquerors, his internationally recognised collaboration with Swiss producer Timo Don, further cementing his reputation for balancing conscious storytelling with mainstream appeal.
Against All Odds will officially arrive on July 10 via Sweet Music and will serve as Jahmiel’s fourth studio album following Great Man (2019), Legend (2022), and Nirvana (2024). With a growing international audience and a catalogue rooted in upliftment and substance, Jahmiel appears poised to deliver one of the most talked-about dancehall releases of the summer.
