Two generations of conscious reggae power converge at a pivotal moment. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Protoje and multiple Grammy Award winner Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley have released At We Feet, their first-ever collaboration, out today (Friday, January 16) with an official video directed by SAMO. Produced by Winta James, the spiritually grounded anthem serves as the third single from Protoje’s forthcoming album The Art of Acceptance, due this Spring via In.Digg.Nation Collective/Ineffable Records—an album already shaping up as one of 2026’s most reflective reggae releases.

Anchored by the affirmation, “Whatever we need Jah put a we feet,” the track leans into faith, surrender and trust, offering a steadying message amid global uncertainty. Protoje describes the song as a reminder that “when you move with love and positivity, provision comes,” even when circumstances feel unstable. His verses mirror that ethos through everyday imagery—“Jah bless me belly full”—celebrating gratitude, simplicity and spiritual alignment over excess. It’s a lyrical philosophy that has long defined Protoje’s work and places At We Feet firmly within the modern roots tradition.

Damian Marley’s contribution elevates the message with the weight of legacy and lived conviction. Declaring “Life over everything” and “Love over money,” Jr. Gong reinforces a moral compass that has guided his Grammy-winning career, while bridging Rastafarian consciousness with contemporary relevance. His presence doesn’t overshadow the record; instead, it completes it—marking a rare meeting of minds between two artists who have shaped reggae’s global conversation from different eras, yet speak the same spiritual language.

The release also carries deeper resonance in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which recently impacted Protoje’s hometown of St. Elizabeth. A proud rural native, Protoje has consistently championed land consciousness, resilience and self-sufficiency—values woven into the DNA of At We Feet. The single sets the emotional and philosophical tone for The Art of Acceptance, Protoje’s seventh studio album and follow-up to his Grammy-nominated Third Time’s The Charm (2022).

With a Spring 2026 international tour already confirmed—spanning Europe and the United States, including major festival appearances and a special Houston date with Stephen Marley—At We Feet feels less like a one-off collaboration and more like a defining cultural moment. For fans of conscious reggae, this long-awaited Protoje and Jr. Gong union lands exactly where it belongs: rooted in faith, purpose and timeless truth.
