Jamaican hitmaker Sean Paul has once again secured his place at the top, closing out 2025 as Spotify’s most-streamed dancehall artist globally — an unbroken streak that now spans two consecutive years. The Grammy-winning star pulled an extraordinary 159 million listeners, 83.1 million hours streamed, and 1.6 billion total streams across 184 countries, reaffirming his status as dancehall’s most consistent global force.

The achievement follows another major milestone earlier this year, when Sean Paul surpassed 15 billion lifetime streams on Spotify — more than any other Jamaican artist on the platform. With a catalogue of 473 tracks, spanning chart-toppers, collaborations, and crossover anthems, the “Temperature” icon continues to prove why he remains one of the most influential dancehall artists of the streaming age. His biggest digital hits include Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye” (1.7B), Dua Lipa’s “No Lie” (1.47B), “Temperature” (1.15B), Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” (872M), and the classic “Get Busy” (686M).

Sean Paul’s domination is rooted not only in numbers but in longevity. From the early-2000s club era to today’s playlist-driven landscape, he remains one of the few Caribbean acts whose music still moves effortlessly between dancehall, pop, EDM, Afrobeats, and global charts. Meanwhile, his philanthropic efforts continue behind the scenes. Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, the Sean Paul Foundation delivered relief supplies to affected communities, with the artist urging his international fanbase to stand in solidarity with Jamaica during its rebuilding phase.

With 2026 on the horizon and his streaming reign stronger than ever, Sean Paul remains a defining figure of Caribbean music — and a reminder that dancehall’s global reach still carries immense power.
