Reggae firebrand Keznamdi has set social media ablaze with his “Hollywxxd (Blxxd and Fyah Freestyle),” a sizzling teaser ahead of his highly anticipated sophomore album Blxxd and Fyah, dropping Friday, August 22. Since its release, the freestyle has gone viral, generating over 14,400 likes and 1,342 comments on The Tropixs’ Instagram account, while popular music reviewer Mello Vibes’ page has seen the post soar to 14,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with thousands of reposts spreading the hype across platforms like TikTok. Fans everywhere are joining the conversation, affirming Keznamdi as one of reggae’s most talked-about voices of 2025.

The freestyle has attracted praise from an impressive roster of stars and industry heavyweights, underscoring its global reach. Reggae and Dancehall luminaries Bounty Killer, Mavado, Ky-Mani Marley, Ding Dong, Kumar Fyah, Serani, Pressure Busspipe, and Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor have shown support, while filmmaker Mykal Cushnie, producer Rvssian, British actor Bashy, Canadian model Winnie Harlow, Olympian Ato Boldon, hip-hop stars Swizz Beatz, Rhapsody, Dejloaf, and Afrodancehall standout Stonebwoy have all weighed in with official endorsements. Beyond social media, the freestyle has found its way onto the airwaves and party circuit, steadily becoming a staple on playlists and further cementing its cultural impact.

Lyrically, the freestyle is as fiery as its reception, tackling topical issues such as morality in society, the upcoming Jamaican general election, Diddy’s case, and concerns about Rastafarian militancy. Keznamdi balances socially conscious messaging with infectious rhythms, delivering a track that is both provocative and irresistible, keeping fans hooked.

Reflecting on the overwhelming response, Keznamdi said, “We just release the song as a little thing people can gwaan vibe to until the album drop. But mi surprise fi see how the masses gravitate to the fiyah weh we blaze and for that we give thanks!” The track has inspired countless reposts, DJ requests, and organic radio play, proving that even as a teaser, it has struck a chord with fans and influencers alike.

Coming on the heels of his hit singles “Pressure” and the Mavado-assisted “Bun Di Ganja,” Keznamdi is proving that his sophomore album will be more than a collection of songs—it’s a statement. Through cross-genre collaboration, pan-African storytelling, and a fearless approach to topical themes, he continues to push reggae forward, uniting fans worldwide while redefining what the genre can achieve in 2025.
