This marks the duo’s first official collaboration in nearly six years, reigniting the same magic that once defined their Gaza-era dominance. The track, released June 27 via One RPM, has already started to build momentum across the dancehall landscape, and its inclusion on Billboard’s curated list confirms its impact. “Nothing don’t happen before the right time,” Notnice told Prism Marketing Consultants, reflecting on how naturally the collaboration came together after years apart. “So I guess that time is now.”
Also earning a coveted spot on the list is dancehall hitmaker Masicka with Rich Sex, produced by Latin Grammy-nominated Rvssian. Billboard praised the song for its melodic appeal and lyrical flair, calling Masicka “perhaps the most melodically gifted artist in dancehall right now.” The single blends laid-back flows and melodic rap influences over Rvssian’s glossy Story Book riddim, showing off Masicka’s versatility while continuing the momentum from his previous hit, Mute.
This month’s roundup also features new releases from Skillibeng, Konshens, Byron Messia, Mical Teja, and more, further underscoring the genre’s growing global influence.
