Fresh off her first solo Grammy nomination and a sizzling collaboration with American rapper Tyga, Shenseea has been confirmed as the latest addition to Aidonia’s highly anticipated 20th Anniversary concert at UBS Arena in New York on May 3, 2025. With the event already boasting a star-studded lineup—including reggae and dancehall icons Sizzla Kalonji, Cham, Spragga Benz, Mavado, Govana, and Jada Kingdom—Shenseea’s presence brings even more star power to what is shaping up to be a historic night for dancehall music.
The announcement follows a whirlwind period of success for Shenseea. Her latest single, Magnetic, with Tyga, landed on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week, earning praise for its sultry, emotionally charged dynamic. “Tyga isn’t new to making hits, and adding Caribbean dancehall artist Shenseea almost guarantees the success of this track,” Billboard noted. Simultaneously, her Grammy-nominated album, Never Gets Late Here, has solidified her as one of the most versatile artists in the genre. Although she did not take home the trophy, her feature on Bob Marley: One Love (Music Inspired by the Films), which won Best Reggae Album, further cements her status on the global stage.
