Reggae fans worldwide can rejoice as Jamaican singer Protoje unveils his highly anticipated 2025 tour, In Search of Zion Dub Experience. Spanning 22 cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, the tour will showcase his signature blend of modern roots reggae and socially conscious lyrics. The journey begins on March 9 at WOMADelaide, Australia’s premier world music festival, where Protoje will make his long-awaited debut. “I’ve never been to that part of the world,” he said. “So anytime I’m able to go somewhere I’ve never been before, it’s like a milestone.”
Protoje’s first stop at WOMADelaide 2025, held in Adelaide’s scenic Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla, reflects the festival’s commitment to showcasing diverse global talent. The four-day event, running from March 7-10, will feature an eclectic lineup, including PJ Harvey, Nils Frahm, and Mariza.
Following WOMADelaide, Protoje will take his reggae message to New Zealand’s WOMAD Aotearoa before heading to Europe for stops in Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. His U.S. leg includes performances at major festivals like Reggae Rise Up in Arizona and SweetWater 420 Fest in Atlanta, with additional shows in Florida, North Carolina, and California. The tour will conclude in November with performances in Amsterdam, Zurich, and Paris.
Beyond his international touring success, Protoje continues to make waves in the digital streaming space. According to data obtained by Prism Marketing Consultants via Songstats, a music analytics platform, he has amassed an impressive 1.32 billion total streams across all platforms as of February 2025. On Spotify alone, his catalogue boasts over 517 million streams, with 490 million as a lead artist and 26 million as a featured act. His biggest hit, Who Knows, featuring Chronixx, remains a fan favourite, racking up 93.8 million streams.
