Over the weekend, Rastafarian singer Anthony B delivered an energized performance at the Reggae Roots Festival in the National Park, Guyana. With the backing of his full band, the entertainer thrilled fans, marking a major step forward since his recovery from a health scare earlier this year. The 48-year-old artist, who was hospitalized in July for an undisclosed medical condition, has returned to the stage with renewed energy and gratitude, thanking fans for their support throughout his recovery. “I am truly grateful for your words, love, prayers, and support, I am home now, out of the hospital, recovering my strength.” he shared during the period.
The Guyana performance sets the stage for Anthony B’s highly anticipated Australian tour, where he will headline a four-city stint beginning later this month. The tour kicks off on Friday, November 29, in Fremantle, Perth, at Port Beach Brewery, followed by a show on Saturday, November 30, at QRoom in Thomastown, Melbourne. Fans in Sydney can catch him at the Red Rattler in Marrickville on Friday, December 6, with the tour concluding at the Jamaican Music & Food Festival in Williamstown, Melbourne, on Saturday, December 7.
Following his Australian concerts, Anthony B will head to Seattle, Washington, for a December 18 performance, bringing his unmistakable reggae sound to audiences in the U.S. With his health restored and his sights set on an international stage, Anthony B’s return promises an unforgettable experience for fans as he reaffirms his enduring impact on reggae music and culture.
