After delivering a commendable performance in front of the approximately 30,000 persons in attendance at last month’s highly publicized BHIM Concert, hosted by African Superstar Stonebwoy at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana, Dancehall artiste Jahmiel is now gearing up to release his third studio album.
According to a statement from the singer’s management team to Prism Marketing Consultants, the album is set for release in March 2024. It will serve as a follow-up to his critically acclaimed sophomore effort, “Legend.” The project will showcase Jahmiel exploring a diverse array of topics and music genres, including Afrobeats, alongside the familiar territories of Reggae and Dancehall. Confirmed features include collaborations with Charly Black and Spanish Town deejay Govana.
When questioned about upcoming plans, the representative revealed that there are preparations for a European tour this summer, coupled with participation in various festivals that will see Jahmiel returning to the motherland in June.
Released in April 2022, “Legend,” a 16-track compilation executively produced by Sweet Music and distributed by One RPM, featured four collaborations courtesy of Masicka, Vershon, Stonebwoy, and reggae stalwart Bugle.
“The album is the best body of work I have ever produced, and the recipients will concur with that, I am certain. It is dynamic, groovy, emotionally centric, and reality-based,” stated label executive Dr. Wallace in a 2022 interview with Prism Marketing Consultants.
“Jahmiel is a great artist, and witnessing his journey and growth, I am confident that the fans will appreciate what he has to offer on this new project,” he added.
With only two months until the release, Dr. Wallace remains optimistic that the forthcoming album will resonate with music enthusiasts. Plans are also underway for an aggressive promotional campaign to drive awareness.
