In the latest chapter of the ongoing dancehall feud, savvy lyricist Shane O has intensified the lyrical warfare against Demarco, unleashing a scathing track titled “Baddest Thing Up Town.” This clash has evolved through stages involving emerging talents Fully Bad and Kyodi, who, according to dancehall enthusiasts, were quickly dispatched by the ‘Bun Up‘ Boss. However, the battle has reached a critical point with the involvement of the ‘Dark Room‘ deejay, known for his skilful pen game.
Demarco initiated the verbal sparring with his track “6 Mil,” where he delivered cutting lines aimed squarely at Shane O. The lyrics included references to Shane O changing his skin colour like his chain and lighting up his dark room. Three days later, Shane O retaliated with equal ferocity, accusing Demarco of being a “waste man” and detailing an incident where he orchestrated a confrontation at a shop in response to Demarco’s posts and boasts.
The feud took a personal turn as Shane O mentioned Demarco’s alleged mistreatment of Renee Sixthirty, suggesting that Demarco’s fallout with her resulted from his alleged disrespectful behaviour. The track “Baddest Thing Up Town” was produced by Urban Team Records and has quickly gained traction on YouTube since its release on Monday.Â
As the dancehall community eagerly follows this escalating feud, the clash between Demarco and Shane O continues to captivate audiences with intense exchanges and personal revelations.
