American music mogul and entrepreneur DJ Khaled has announced that Burna Boy will be featured on his upcoming 14th studio album, ‘Till Next Time,’ slated for release next year. Additionally, he expressed his desire to collaborate with the Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Khaled revealed that he is experiencing a similar “spiritual connection” with Burna Boy as he does with dancehall music.
During the exchange, the entertainer also touched on politics, sharing that while his parents sometimes playfully suggest he should run for president, he has never been inclined towards a political career. Instead, he emphasises his preference for focusing on being a positive force, working diligently, and spreading love, believing in the power of these actions to make a difference.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy’s hit track, ‘Last Last,’ has achieved a significant milestone by receiving a coveted Diamond Certification in France. The prestigious France Music Certification organisation, SNEP, officially recognised the song as a Diamond record, a testament to its remarkable success with 50 million streams in France.
This accomplishment solidifies ‘Last Last’ as a global hit. In celebration, the African giant shared the official cover art on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “#ITOLDTHEM.”
