Grammy-winning Jamaican singer Buju Banton has announced a new release date for his highly anticipated album, “Born For Greatness”. Originally scheduled for July 28, the album will now be released on September 8.
Buju took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news with his over 1.4 million followers, revealing the official album cover art and tracklist. The album features 17 tracks and includes collaborations with renowned international stars Snoop Dogg, Victoria Monét, and Jamaica’s very own Stephen Marley. It also earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, making it his sixth album to receive this honour.
One of the tracks on Born For Greatness is Buju Banton’s recent single, Coconut Wata, released last month and has been well-received by fans and music enthusiasts alike. With the album’s release date approaching, anticipation is building for what promises to be another unique project from the renowned reggae vocalist.
