Jamaican vocalist I-Octane unleashed his sixth studio album, “Dancehall Gift,” on Friday, July 7. The ten-track set showcases the entertainer’s immense talent and unwavering dedication to the music industry.
In recognition of the fast-paced nature of music consumption today, I-Octane aimed to deliver an album that resonates with contemporary music lovers. “We live in an era right now that people consume music fast,” he explained. The album features his signature singjay style and boasts an impressive array of accomplished producers, including Troyton Music, Seanizzle, and ZJ Liquid of H20 Records, with mastering courtesy of Michael Fuller of Fuller Sounds in Miami, Florida.
Among the standout tracks on “Dancehall Gift” is the captivating single “Speed Up The Process,” produced by Seanizzle. Additionally, I-Octane is currently promoting “Keep It Coming,” another single from the Pied Piper riddim by ZJ Liquid, also featured on the album. The project’s production was meticulously overseen by industry-leading labels, namely Real Money Entertainment, DJ Kit, and Stashment Records, with mixing and mastering credits from JJ Wizzle (YardStyle Ent.) and Simpac Music.

“I was gonna release it as an EP, but my team said, ‘These songs are great, do an album.’ So I just did it. Look out for more in terms of promotions with the album,” he told Prism Marketing Consultants in a statement. This release comes one year after his previous album, ‘I Am Great‘, and the artist eagerly anticipates his fans’ response.
I-Octane, born Byiome Muir, burst onto the music scene with his debut album, ‘Crying To The Nation‘, in 2012. He followed up with ‘My Journey‘ in 2014 and released ‘Love and Life‘, the first album from his label ‘Conquer The Globe Productions’, four years later. ‘Moods‘ and ‘I Am Great‘ followed in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
