In a sit-down interview with popular podcast THE FIX, the radio personality and disc jock shared his thoughts on various topics, including the artiste who best represents the face of the new generation. Trippple X believes that Teejay deserves this title because of his growth, songwriting, producing and hitmaking abilities, coupled with public appeal and solid performances.
Trippple X also highlighted that Teejay is not the “best artiste” in the game, but he is the most complete. Teejay’s dynamic style and talent make him stand out from his peers, according to Tripple X. He also notes that the “Drift” hitmaker growth has been remarkable, and his songwriting and producing skills are top-notch.
Teejay’s popularity has soared in recent months, thanks in part to his hit single “Drift.” Despite his success, his management team has temporarily banned him from using social media. Teejay revealed this in an interview with Zip 103fm on Monday, when he was asked about an update on the situation involving “Alex from Boston.”
Despite the supposed ban, Teejay is set to have a busy summer with the release of his forthcoming EP, “I Am Chippy.” The eight-track set, featuring Skillibeng, will be jointly distributed by Ranch Entertainment and VP Records with a mid-June release date.
