Dancehall sensation Dexta Daps is gearing up for the second leg of his highly successful Trilogy Tour. After captivating audiences in the U.K. earlier this year, the Jamaican artist, whose real name is Louis Grandison, will be embarking on a series of concerts across the United States.
Commencing in July, the tour will traverse from Hartford, Connecticut, on July 16 to Miami, Florida, on August 26. Along the way, Daps will make stops in Washington, D.C. (July 21), Richmond, Virginia (July 22) and Brooklyn (July 29).
Following his U.S. exploits, the “Forever” vocalist will bring the tour home to Jamaica. He has announced three stops in Kingston (December 1), Ocho Rios (December 2), and Negril on December 3, with more dates to be announced. This return to his home country promises to be a special treat for local fans.
Before his upcoming U.S. tour, Dexta Daps showcased his growing repertoire of hits in Malta from May 31 to June 4. The Central Mediterranean audiences were treated to delightful performances, adding to the artist’s global appeal.
In addition to his live shows, Dexta has been making waves with his collaboration alongside Davido on the track “Bop.” The song debuted on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs Chart, peaking at number 22. This marks Dexta Daps’ first entry on the chart, signifying his rising prominence in the industry. With the release of his forthcoming album, Trilogy, on the horizon, the singer is poised to solidify his position as a formidable force in the music world.
Amidst his international ventures, he remains active on the local scene, promoting the collaborative effort with talented songstress Alaine, titled “See It Yah.”
