CVM-TV has announced several new additions to its morning show, Sunrise. These changes aim to enhance the viewing experience and strengthen the network’s position during the critical morning hours.Â
The changes include the addition of popular media personality Khadine’ Miss Kitty’ Hylton and experienced broadcasters Dennis Brooks, Tami Chin Mitchell, and Ity Ellis as co-hosts of the morning show. CVM aims to offer new and improved content, including original local shows and international content for viewers of all ages.
The network’s new direction includes an updated logo mark and brand image. CVM is committing to delivering exceptional entertainment and will offer fresh, original local content through Wayne Marshall, who will host The Cut, a male-centric talk show set in a local barbershop. Other programs include the return of Jamaican favourite Royal Palm Estate and new original shows like Box Lunch Special, Que10, Foolishness, and Friday Night Special.
The media outlet is also changing its news programming, with renowned broadcaster Stephen McHugh joining veteran newscaster Kerlyn Brown as anchors of CVM News @ 7. The network’s content showcase, dubbed the ‘CVMMYS,’ was held at Palace Cineplex in Kingston, where they outlined its new direction.Â
