Since Wednesday afternoon, an image of dancehall stars Aidonia and Busy Signal sharing a photo op has been making the rounds on social media, igniting fans’ curiosity as they salivate over the prospect of a collaboration between the two.
However, the photo first posted on the artists’ respective Instagram accounts is just that, “a photo op” demonstrating maturity and unity between two former musical nemeses.
“It’s just a photo and nothing more; there is no collaboration in the works, at least not presently. They were coincidentally both at Big Yard Studio conducting their respective business, which presented the opportunity for the photo.” – A source close to the entertainers told Prism Marketing Consultants.
In the past, the two engaged in a fiery lyrical battle and were both featured on Richie Ramus’ “Art of War Vol.1” clash mixtape series. However, since 2015, they have put aside their differences at a concert in Trinidad and Tobago, where they both performed alongside Konshens.
Meantime, Aidonia recently launched his new Q&A series on Youtube called “Ask Aidonia.” where he shares valuable insights into his personal and professional life. He also announced an upcoming five-city tour of the United States on the heels of the launch. The tour is expected to make several stops along the Eastern seaboard, starting on June 11th in New York City and culminating on September 16th in Miami, Florida.
