Reggae artist Chronixx has been honoured with an international award at the prestigious British Ivors Academy’s Novello Awards.
Recognized for his contribution to the 11 album by British funk band SAULT, Chronixx received accolades for his exceptional songwriting and composing skills. Alongside his SAULT co-writers Dean “Inflo” Josiah Cover, Cleopatra Nikolic, and Jack Peñate, he was presented with the Ivor Novello Awards’ Best Album prize at the ceremony held in London on May 18.
The album drew inspiration from Afrobeat and blues and was one of five highly acclaimed releases by SAULT in November 2022. Chronixx featured on four tracks from the album: “Fear No One,” “Morning Sun,” “Glory,” and “River.”
