Sizzla Kalonji recently embarked on his “Everlasting Tour” in Japan, announced in January 2023. Starting on April 25th at Vibes in the city of Ibaraki, Sizzla performed to a packed audience, delivering some of his famous hits. The tour continued to Kagoshima on the 26th, where he mesmerized the crowd at the Duckbill Club. Next, the famous Voodoo Lounge in Fukuoka welcomed Sizzla on April 27th, leaving the patrons with unforgettable memories.
Over the weekend of April 28th-30th, Sizzla performed at Route Fourteen in Ichikawa, King Xmhu in Sapporo, and Mairo in Toyama. He was welcomed with love and admiration and, in turn, blessed the audience with some classic selections.
This week, the “Everlasting Tour” will continue to showcase Sizzla’s musical talents, dominating Japan’s nightlife. From May 1st – 4th, Downtown in Osaka, Harbor Studio in Kobe, Mod’s in Okinawa, and Cross Road7 in Tobishima will be filled with Sizzla’s soulful and groovy hits.
The multi-city tour will conclude this weekend in Kyoto at Octave, Clubasia in Shibuya, and finally at Hiroshima at the Mugen5610 Club. Sizzla’s captivating performances in Japan will undoubtedly be a treat for the country’s reggae fans.
Meanwhile, the Reggae singer has secured a pair of nominations for “Best Song” (These Streets Know My Name) and “Most Cultural/ Educational Entertainer” at the upcoming IRAWMA Awards slated to unfold later this month in Jamaica. Other contenders in the latter category include Damian Marley, Queen Ifrica, Tarrus Riley, Gramps Morgan and Mutabaruka.
