The International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) have announced their nominations for 2023, setting the stage for several notable artists to compete in various categories for a coveted award.
The “Best New Entertainer” category is one of the most fiercely contested, featuring Jahshii, Laa Lee and Valiant as hot picks, alongside Brysco and Shaniel Muir.
Jahshii has had an impressive start to the year, with an awe-inspiring performance at Rebel Salute, an acoustic set at Hennessy’s Soiree, and a powerful collaboration with Masicka titled “Pieces“. He has now announced another joint effort, “Tears“, with Mavado. The single is set to be released on Wednesday, March 15th, via all major digital and streaming platforms, as confirmed by a source close to the Gully Gad. The song is produced by Damage Musiq.
Mavado has further confirmed the release date, posting a video snippet from the official visuals featuring Jahshii with the caption,
“Tomorrow #NATO 📬🔥”.
