Sean Paul, the dancehall superstar, has been a consistent flagbearer for Jamaica on the international stage, performing at numerous high-profile events over the years, and this year is no exception.
Dreamville Festival 2023 returns to Dorothea Dix Park, Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 1 and 2 with an expanded line-up of top-tier performers, including the Jamaican deejay, who’s slated to perform on day one of the two-day festivities; Paul is charged with bringing the dancehall heat to the festivities. Grammy-winning singer Usher will close out the day’s events with additional performances from Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, EarthGang, Jessie Reyez, and Key Glock, among others.
Day two will witness the African and Afrobeats giant Burna Boy taking the stage as headliner, alongside J. Cole and his special guest, Drake. As per an official statement, the two rappers will collaborate on a medley of their most celebrated tracks. Moreover, the roster includes several noteworthy acts, such as Summer Walker, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flocka Flame, and Mario.
Dreamville Festival 2023 promises to be an even more exciting event with the addition of labelmates Ari Lennox, J.I.D, EarthGang, Bas, Cozz, Omen, and Lute all set to hit the stage.Â
Prior to his upcoming assignment, Sean Paul performed at last December’s FIFA Fan Festival in Qatar as part of the World Cup 2022 fixture.
