Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are set to reunite for a fourth Bad Boys film.
The untitled sequel is in early development at Sony Pictures and will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with a script by Chris Bremner.
The last film, “Bad Boys for Life” (2020), marked the reunion of the actors 25 years after the original “Bad Boys” movie (1995). It opened at No.1 and grossed $426.5 million globally.
The official announcement was made in a video titled “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!” featuring Smith driving to Lawrence’s house while playing a song from the “Bad Boys II” soundtrack.
The Bad Boys franchise has previously produced blockbusters like “Bad Boys II” (2003), which grossed $273 million worldwide.
Smith recently starred in Apple TV+’s slavery drama “Emancipation,” and Lawrence was in last year’s mystery thriller “Mindcage.”
