Subsequent to his two-week tour of the United Kingdom and a quick stop in the United States for the Labour Day Weekend festivities, dancehall star Laa Lee is back in Jamaica to continue his ongoing promotional campaign.
With his collaborative effort, Bong Bing featuring Cristale recently added to mainstream radio in Britain. Last Friday, the dancehall hitmaker premiered a new single titled Floating as a follow-up to the now viral track.
Produced by Frankie Music, Floating, a catchy dance number, is already gaining traction within the local entertainment space. According to Comar Campbell, manager and head of Frankie Music, plans are already afoot for an official video in the days ahead,
“We released the single on Friday, and the feedback so far has been very positive from the dancehall community. There is also an official dance for Floating, created by the North Coast Boys. Presently, things are being finalised for the release of the official video, showcasing the dance moves.” – Campbell added.
Laa Lee, who has seen a significant uptick in demand since the start of the year, is also promoting Big Boy remix, another of his recent releases, with reggae crooner Bugle and Nigerian/Jamaican singer Heph B. The single is featured on Bugle’s repackaged Toxicity Deluxe album, which premiered at No.10 on the U.S iTunes Reggae Albums Chart on August 26.
